Klonoa Mega Chat is going to be hosting a classic Namco arcade competition to close out the summer season on September 2 and 3, complete with a livestream with live on-screen chat and commentary! Players will compete each night in two classic arcade games, played on Namco Museum Vol. 2 and 3: Ms. Pac-Man and Dig Dug on Saturday, and Mappy and the lesser-known Phozon on Sunday. Anyone can join in from any community.

Points will be awarded depending on your place for the night. The higher you place, the more points you'll get. The winner at the end of the weekend will be decided based on the total number of points, and ties will be broken with a secret game the following weekend!

Prizes include $20 for the winner, and $10 for the runner-up, both to be delivered through the recipient's choice of PayPal or a Steam, GoG or Humble Store game of your choice. If desired, proceeds can be donated to the charity of your choice as well.

If you're interested in joining, just let us know in this thread! All we need to know is how you're going to play it, and how you're going to record or stream it. You need a physical or digital copy of Namco Museum Vol. 2 and Namco Museum Vol. 3, and one of the following to play them on:

   PlayStation, any model
   PSone
   PlayStation 2, any model
   PlayStation 3, any model
   RetroArch (For high end PCs)
ePSXe 2.0.5 (For mid and high range PCs)
pSX 1.13 (For low end PCs)

You'll also need a means of recording or streaming your gameplay. You can use the old tried-and-true-ish camera and TV screen, a full-screen recording, or you can stream it yourself, and we'll restream it live at the Mixer page for you.

To enter yourself or someone else into the competition, talk to the Final Boss or Level Bosses on Klonoa Mega Chat. If you are not a member of Klonoa Mega Chat yet, you can join from here: discord.gg/SC48zK

See you there!
